So back in February of this year I got an email from a couple in Australia. It was a little random. It said "We are an Australian couple with 5 teenage kids, due to be in the UK in April and we would like to get married in the UK or Scotland in a location steeped with history..
My thoughts straight away turned in to "right how can i make this happen" so I was on a mission to find their ideal location. As I soon found that they ideally dreamt of marrying in a Castle I knew that there was only one Castle that would blow their socks off and that was the one and only Leeds Castle. I know this venue well, and also the events team so I called them to see what we could do to make their dream wedding day come true and with some fine tuning, we managed to create their ideal wedding day to suit their needs and budget.
It was an an absolutely beautiful April day, the sun was shining and they all looked amazing after their hair and make-up was done. It was a lovely intimate wedding just for 7 people carried out by the well respected Eileen Smith. They had the Castle Library and Dining Room exclusively for the ceremony and then we took the family around the castle. Then the family went off to explore whilst Chris and Sal were whisked off on a buggy to have photos with Andy Jones Photography around the grounds of Leeds Castle.
This is what Sal & Chris had to say about their day.
"Our dream was to have a wedding ceremony in the UK AND in a Castle, not an easy task when you live in South Australia. Sian responded to our email straight away and after our first contact we thought she was brilliant. She got what we were trying to achieve and all within our set budget.
She was just all over every detail for us and even managed to achieve our dream of a Castle ceremony. And not just any Castle, Leeds Castle!
We felt really blessed to have Sian looking after all our requirements, there seemed to be nothing she couldn't do. She was there on the day taking care of our family and making sure it all ran smoothly. It was just perfect.
There is no one we would have more pleasure in recommending to organise their wedding than Sian.

Thank you guys. That's lovely, it was a complete pleasure to help you have your wedding day in the UK. You were a really lovely family and great to work with. Leeds Castle now do a Renewal Package so I hope you'll come back in 10 years and let’s do it all over again. :-)
